Dream Ladder

Dream Ladder is based on eight golden tiles that reach towards the sky. These eight tiles have been cast in bronze from a single sandstone boulder in New Mexico. By taking earth from the four corners of the desert region in which I live, a unification of the area was formed into a striated column that visually merges with its environment. My aim for this project is to build a Dream Ladder in multiple locations around the globe using materials and building traditions local to each place.
